Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers
- Beaver name template
Instructions
- Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
- Begin by gluing the eye pieces onto the beaver’s head, below the eyebrows.
- Glue the cheek pieces onto each side of the face.
- Glue the teeth below the mouth line.
- Use a marker to draw the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears.
- Take the head and glue it to the top of the beaver's body.
- Arrange the letters to spell the child's name and glue them together.
- Glue the right end of the log to the last letter log.
- Glue the left end of the log to the first letter log.
- Take the completed name log and glue it across the front of the beaver’s body.
- Glue the feet near the bottom of the body so they overlap the log.
- Glue the arm pieces over the top of the log so the beaver looks like it is holding it.
- Finally, glue the tail behind the beaver’s body so it peeks out from the side.
