Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Beaver name template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the eye pieces onto the beaver’s head, below the eyebrows.
  • Glue the cheek pieces onto each side of the face.
  • Glue the teeth below the mouth line.
  • Use a marker to draw the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears.
  • Take the head and glue it to the top of the beaver's body.
  • Arrange the letters to spell the child's name and glue them together.
  • Glue the right end of the log to the last letter log.
  • Glue the left end of the log to the first letter log.
  • Take the completed name log and glue it across the front of the beaver’s body.
  • Glue the feet near the bottom of the body so they overlap the log.
  • Glue the arm pieces over the top of the log so the beaver looks like it is holding it.
  • Finally, glue the tail behind the beaver’s body so it peeks out from the side.
