This bee paper bag puppet craft is perfect for kids who love pretending and using their imaginations. It's also a great way to get them excited about spring and summer!

Materials

  • Brown paper bags
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Bee template

Instructions

  • Download the bee template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Take the eyes and glue them above the mouth.
  • Place the cheeks just below and slightly outside the eyes.
  • Next, take the antennae and glue them to the back and top of the bee's head.
  • Begin to create the bee's body by gluing the stripes along the main portion of the body.
  • Position the stinger at the bottom of the body and glue it to the back.
  • Take the completed body and glue it to the main portion of the brown paper bag.
  • Next, take the completed head and glue it to the flap portion of the bag.
  • Finish off the bee by gluing the wings on either side of the body in between the sides of the bag.
