Materials
- Brown paper bag
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Candy corn template
Instructions
- Download the candy corn template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the black background pieces to the flap and main portion of the brown paper bag.
- Trim off the portion of the brown paper bag that extends past the black paper.
- Create the candy corn man's lower half by gluing the legs to the middle and back of the bottom portion of the candy.
- Next, make the middle portion of the candy corn by gluing the arms on both sides of the back of the middle orange piece.
- Now, take the lower body and glue it to the main portion of the paper bag so that the orange section is just below the flap.
- Take the completed orange midsection and glue it slightly on top of the yellow bottom portion.
- Make the candy corn man's head by gluing the eyes to the middle of the head.
- Place the cheeks on either side of the mouth and glue them in place.
- Finish off the puppet by gluing the white head to the flap portion of the paper bag.
