Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Chick template
Instructions
- Download the chick template, edit it to include the letters in your child(ren)'s name, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Start by gluing the eyes beneath both of the chick's eyebrows.
- Place the beak between the bottom portion of the eyes and glue it in place.
- Next, glue the belly to the middle of the chick's body.
- Optionally: Add legs to the chick by gluing the feet to the back and bottom of the chick's body.
- Take the completed chick and glue it to a piece of colored paper, leaving space on the bottom for the child's name.
- Finish up by gluing the egg letters below the chick to spell out the child's name.
