Download the chick template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Create the chick's comb and beak by placing glue all along the inside of the lines and then crumple up and glue orange and red tissue paper all along the template. If the beak and comb are too small for your child to glue tissue paper to, there's a 2nd template that doesn't have the words on it. The kids can color in these pieces instead of gluing tissue paper to them.
Make the chick's body by placing glue all along the inside of the lines and then crumple up and glue yellow tissue paper all along the template.
Next, glue the chick's eye just to the right of the beak.
Glue the chick's wing in the middle of its body.
Finish off by gluing the feet to the bottom of the chick.
