Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • White paint pen or Crayola Bold & Bright marker
  • Pom poms
  • Gingerbread Man Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the ocean piece onto the lower part of the background.
  • Glue the sand piece along the bottom, overlapping the ocean.
  • Use a marker to add small details to the sand.
  • Glue the sandcastle onto the sand.
  • Color in the swim trunks and glue it onto the gingerbread man.
  • Take the Santa hat, color it in, and glue onto the gingerbread man’s head.
  • Glue the pom pom buttons down the center of the gingerbread man’s body.
  • Use a white paint pen or Bold & Bright marker to add icing details to the gingerbread man’s arms and legs. If using the paint pen, wait a few minutes to let it dry before moving on.
  • Glue the sun near the top of the background.
  • Use a yellow Bold & Bright marker to draw rays around the sun.
  • Finally, glue the completed gingerbread man onto the beach scene near the sandcastle.
