Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Paper Plate
  • Paint
  • Brush
  • Duck Paper Plate Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Use a brush to paint the paper plate. Set it aside to dry.
  • Once the plate is dry, trace the body piece across the lower part of the plate, then cut along the line.
  • Glue the smaller eye onto the left of the duck's head, just below the left eyebrow.
  • Gue the beak onto the left side of the head, just below the eye.
  • Look for the larger eye and glue it just below the right eyebrow.
  • Glue the cheek below the right eye.
  • Take the wing piece and glue onto the center of the duck's body.
  • Glue the tail feathers onto the right edge of the plate.
  • Glue the feet along the bottom edge of the plate so they stick out underneath.
  • Finally, glue the head onto the left side of the plate, lining it up with the curved edge.
