Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Tape
  • Earth template

Instructions

  • Download the Earth template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to make the Earth by gluing the land pieces to the blue circle.
  • Place the eyes in the middle of the globe, slightly higher than halfway up, and glue them in place.
  • Next, glue the tongue to the bottom of the mouth and the teeth to the top. Cut off any excess paper.
  • Glue the mouth just below the eyes.
  • Now, take a pipe cleaner and bend the tip of one side to make a 3 fingered hand. Repeat on another pipe cleaner. Flip the Earth over and tape the hands in the middle of the circle. Bend in the shape you want.
  • Finish off by grabbing another pipe cleaner and cut it in half. Bend the end of one to form a loop for the feet. Repeat on the other pipe cleaner. Flip the Earth over and tape the legs to the bottom.
