Materials

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Permanent glue dots or hot glue
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Elephant template

Instructions

  • Download the elephant template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Paint the popsicle sticks in 1-2 thin coats of gray paint. Let it dry completely before moving on.

  • Begin by gluing the inner ears to the outer ears.
  • Flip the popsicle sticks over and glue the ears to both sides of the back.

  • Next, take the trunk and glue it to the middle of the elephant's head.
  • Glue the eyes onto the head so that the bottom of the eyes are slightly overlapping the top of the trunk.

  • Finish up by drawing eyebrows above the eyes.
