Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black pen or marker optional
  • Elf template

Instructions

  • Download the elf template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by folding the elf head in half to create the card base.
  • Place the eyes on either side of the nose and glue them in place. If you're making a girl elf, you can use a black pen or marker to draw on eyelashes.
  • Take the bangs piece and glue it to the front of the elf's head. If you're making a girl elf, glue the main, longer piece of hair to the top and back of the card.
  • Position the cheeks on both sides of the mouth and glue them in place.
  • Next, take the hat and glue it to the top of the hair.
  • Continue by gluing the hat trim to the base of the hat, then glue the bell to the tip of the hat.
  • Finish up by opening the card up and writing a sweet message inside!
