Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Color
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Elf Gnome template

Instructions

  • Download the elf gnome template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing both eyes just below the eyebrows.
  • Glue the face piece to the front of the beard, just above the mouth.
  • Next, glue the nose in the middle of the face, in between the eyes and the beard.
  • Take the completed gnome head and glue it to the top of the gnome’s body.
  • Now, glue the feet on the bottom of the gnome’s body.
  • Place the gingerbread man in the middle of the gnome’s body and glue it down.
  • Position the hands on both sides of the gingerbread man, so it looks like the gnome is holding the cookie and glue it in place.
  • Now, place the hat on the top of the gnome’s head, slightly overlapping the top of the eyes, then glue the hat trim on the bottom of the hat.
  • Attach and glue the hat pom at the tip of the hat.
  • Finish up by gluing the ears to the back and sides of the head.
