Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Popcorn template

Instructions

  • Download the popcorn template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the stripes vertically along the popcorn box. Cut off any excess paper that hangs off the sides.

  • Place the bucket rim along the top of the bucket and glue it in place.
  • Next, glue the #1 pop sign in the middle of the bucket.

  • Glue the completed popcorn bucket in the middle of a colored piece of paper.
  • Using a variety of popcorn colored tissue paper squares, like yellow, white, and cream, scrunch up a piece and glue it to the top of the bucket.

  • Finish up by repeating the scrunching and gluing until you have made a mound of popcorn on top of the bucket.
