Fish Bowl Paper Plate Craft

Today we’re featuring a beautiful pet that many enjoy watching. Kids can create their own fishy friend without the need for water or fish food with this fish bowl paper plate craft.

Materials

  • Paper plates
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker
  • Fish bowl template

Instructions

  • Download the fish bowl template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by painting the paper plate and let it dry completely. Cut a small, curved portion off the top of the paper plate.
  • Glue the seagrass around the bottom of the paper plate.
  • Next, glue the gravel to the bottom portion of the paper plate, on top of the seagrass.
  • Now, glue the stripes to the body. Cut off any excess paper that hangs off the sides.
  • Position the red fin on the top and bottom of the fish and glue them in place.
  • Glue the tail fin on the back and right side of the body.
  • Next, attach the eye just below the eyebrow.
  • Place the fish in the center of the paper plate and glue it in place.
  • Finish off by gluing the bubbles to the paper plate, around the fish's mouth.
