Frankenstein is such an iconic character, and he's perfect for Halloween! If you're looking for a fun art project for the kids this year, why not have them make their own Frankenstein art project?

Materials

  • White art paper or thick cardstock
  • Watercolors for kids
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black marker
  • Frankenstein printable

Instructions

  • Download the Frankenstein printable and print it out on white art paper.
  • Have your kids paint all the pieces on the Frankenstein printable. Also, paint a second piece of art paper for the background. Let dry completely before moving on.
  • Begin to make Frankenstein's face by gluing the eyes, one on each side, above the nose.
  • Take the head and glue it to the shirt. Next, glue the pants to the back and bottom of the shirt.
  • Glue the moon to the top of the background paper.
  • Next, glue Frankenstein to the background paper.
  • Finish up by drawing on Frankenstein's eyebrows and bolts with a black marker.
