Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Pencil
  • Frankenstein template

Instructions

  • Download the Frankenstein template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Trace your child's hand onto a piece of green paper and cut it out. Arrange the handprint with the fingers pointed upward.
  • Place the hair piece at the top of the fingers and glue it in place. Cut along the fingers to reveal them again. Alternatively, you can use a marker, crayon, or paint to color in.
  • Next, glue the eyes in the middle of the palm.
  • Use a green marker to draw a nose just below the eyes and a black marker to draw on Frankenstein's mouth.
  • Take the bolts and glue them to the back of the handprint, just below the hair line.
  • Finish up by gluing the eyebrows just above the eyes.
