Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Color
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Gingerbread Gnome template

Instructions

  • Download the gingerbread gnome template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by, gluing the face piece just above the beard.
  • Next, glue the eyes in the middle of the face, one on each side.

  • Glue the nose in the middle of the face, in between the eyes and the beard.
  • Decorate the hat by gluing the two hat icing pieces to the bottom of it and the top icing piece to the tip of the hat. Color in the candy and glue it to the top and front of the hat.
  • Using markers, draw sprinkles on the top of the icing decoration.
  • Glue the hat to the top of the gnome’s head, slightly overlapping the top of the eyes.

  • Place the gnome’s head on the top of the gingerbread body and glue it in place.
  • Arrange the gnome’s shoes at the bottom of the body and glue them down.
  • Color in the bigger candy piece and glue the candy in the middle of the body.

  • Finish up by gluing the hands, one on each side, to the candy.
