Gingerbread House Paper Plate Craft For Kids

Materials
- Paper Plate
- Brown Paint
- Paint Brush
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers

Instructions
- Download the gingerbread house template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Paint the paper plate with 1-2 thin coats of brown paint. Let the plate dry completely, then cut off a small portion of the top of the paper plate so it's straight instead of round. This will be the bottom of the house.
- Position the paper plate with the cut side down. Begin by gluing the door to the middle and bottom of the paper plate.
- Glue the Christmas tree on the left side of the door.
- Attach the snow to the bottom part of both sides of the gingerbread house.
- Place the window on the right side of the paper plate, just near the door. Then attach the snow on top of it.
- Place the star decoration just above the door, then glue it down.
- Take the sprinkle-covered roof and glue it to the top of the paper plate.
- Finish the gingerbread house by placing the candy on the peak of the roof.
