Download the gingerbread template, print, and cut out the pieces you need to make the craft.

Begin by painting the paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of brown paint. If you want to skip this step, use brown party plates instead.

Place the icing hair at the top of the paper plate and glue into place. Make sure you use enough glue on the ridges to make it stick.

Glue the eyes just beneath the hair.

Next, glue the cheeks below the eyes on both sides.

Now, to make a boy gingerbread, glue the bow tie at the bottom of the paper plate. To make a girl gingerbread, glue the bow on her hair.

Finish by drawing a smile between the two cheeks with the black marker.
