Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White paint pen or white Bold & Bright marker optional
- Gingerbread Template
Instructions
- Download the gingerbread template, print, and cut out the pieces you'll need.
- Begin by gluing the hair to the top of the gingerbread’s head.
- Glue both eyes just below the hair.
- To make a boy, place the bowtie just below the mouth and glue it in place. To make a girl, place the bow on the hair and glue it in place.
- Position the buttons in the middle of the gingerbread’s body and glue it down.
- Draw icing decorations on the arms and legs.
- Place the completed gingerbread on a background piece of paper and glue it down.
- Finish up by arranging the letters below the gingerbread to spell out the child’s name.
