One of our favorite Christmas movies (or book!) is How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Let's make some memories with the kids and make a day out of this beloved story. Make some hot cocoa and cookies, cuddle up for the movie, and afterward, we have the perfect craft for the kids to make. While the kids make this Grinch card craft, you can ask them about their favorite parts of the movie. Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Yellow crayon or marker optional
  • Grinch template

Instructions

  • Download the Grinch template, print, and cut out the pieces you need. If you want to color the Grinch's eyes in yellow, do that before cutting them out.
  • Fold the Grinch card base in half along the dashed line and cut it out, leaving the top, flat part uncut.
  • Begin by gluing the nose to the middle of the Grinch's face, a bit above the mouth.
  • Take the eyes and angle them to follow the curve of the face and glue them, one on each side.
  • Next, take the eyebrows and glue them angled downward on the top part of the eyes.
  • Create the Santa hat by gluing the fluff to the bottom of the hat.
  • Glue the pom to the pointy end of the hat.
  • Finish up by gluing the hat to the top of the Grinch's head.
  • Open up the card and write a sweet message inside!
