Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Red or green pom poms
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Apple tree template

Instructions

  • Download the apple tree template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Trace your child's hand and arm on a piece of brown paper. We used kraft paper. Cut it out.
  • Draw a tree shape big enough for the handprint on a green piece of paper and cut it out.
  • Glue the handprint to the middle of the green tree piece, leaving the arm part of the handprint hanging off.
  • Use the glue stick to glue on the red or green pom poms all around the tree.
