Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Pencil
  • Book Worm Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the book paper pieces to the edge of each book.
  • Next, glue the books together to form a stacked layout.
  • Trace the child’s hand on paper and cut it out.
  • Then glue the worm body behind the base of the handprint cutout.
  • Next, glue the eyes to the top center of the handprint.
  • Draw a smile on the handprint and connect the two eyes with a curved line to complete the glasses.
  • Finish by gluing the completed worm on top of the stacked books.
