Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Camel template

Instructions

  • Download the camel template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eye below the eyebrow.
  • Trace your child's handprint on the paper, then cut it out. Position the handprint with the fingers pointing down. Next, guide your child to glue the neck to the thumb part of the hand. Trim off the bottom portion of the thumb, so it blends seamlessly with the neck.
  • Position the humps on top handprint body and glue it in place.
  • Place the tail on the back and left side side of the camel and glue it in place.
  • Finish off the camel by drawing the hooves to the bottom of the feet.
