Materials
- Colored card stock in pink and yellow
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Pencil
- Printable flamingo template
Instructions
- Download the flamingo template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Fold a piece of pink card stock in half and trace your right child's hand, with the thumb along the fold line. Cut out the handprint, leaving the folded edge uncut.
- Glue the yellow beak to the front of the flamingo's head, just in front of the eye.
- Position your child's handprint with the thumb facing the top and the fingers on the right.
- Secure the flamingo's neck to the handprint by gluing the neck to the back of the handprint, next to the thumb.
- Glue the two legs to the bottom and back of the handprint card.
- Open the card up and write a special message.
