Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • White paint pen or white Crayola Bold & Bright marker
  • Goldfish Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Bring by gluing the top of the bag piece onto the top of the main bag piece.
  • Glue the water piece onto the bottom of the bag piece, centering it.
  • Glue the bag tie around the middle where the top and bottom of the bag connect.
  • Trace your child’s hand, cut it out, and glue it onto the bag with the fingers pointing to the left.
  • Glue the eye onto the palm of the handprint, slightly toward the top right.
  • Glue the cheek just below the eye, slightly to the left.
  • Use a marker to draw the fish’s smile and eyebrow.
  • Draw curved lines on the handprint to create scales and add extra details.
  • Use a white marker or paint pen to draw highlights and bubbles around the water to complete the craft.
