Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Pencil
  • Snowy owl template

Instructions

  • Download the snowy owl craft template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by placing the white owl face at the top of the owl's body and glue it in place.
  • Glue the owl’s beak so it’s halfway on the face and halfway on the body.
  • Next, make the owl’s eyes by gluing the black circle onto the larger yellow circles.
  • Place the completed eyes in the middle of the owl’s white face and glue them down.
  • Now, glue the owl’s feet at the bottom of the owl’s body, letting half of the feet hang over the bottom of the body.
  • Trace your child’s right and left hands on the gray card stock and cut out.
  • Finish off by placing your child’s handprints, one on each side, with the thumbs pointed up on each side of the owl body, and secure them with glue.
