Download the Uncle Sam template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing Uncle Sam's eyes onto the face, just above the nose.

Place the eyebrows about the eyes and glue them in place.

Next, trace your child's handprint two times onto a piece of white paper and cut them out.

Take one of your child's handprints and glue it to the back of the head, with the fingers pointed outward. Repeat for the other sides as well.

Position his goatee on the chin, just below the mouth, and glue it down.

Create Uncle Sam's hat by gluing the white band to the top of the hat.

Next, glue the stripes to the white part of the top of the hat. Trim off any excess paper that hangs off the top.

Wrap up making the hat by gluing the three stars along the blue part of the hat.

Finish up Uncle Sam by gluing the hat to the top of Uncle Sam's head.
