Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Horton template

Instructions

  • Download the Horton template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by grabbing the eyes and carefully apply a small dot of glue on the back of each eye and glue them underneath the eyelashes.
  • Trace your child’s hands onto a piece of paper and cut out. Next, glue one handprint to each side of the head as ears.
  • Finish off by drawing marks on the ears to depict ear hair and the top ridge of the ear.
