Download the humpback whale template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Take the eyes and glue them just above and outside the whale's smile.
Position the whale's cheek just below the eye and glue them in place.
Use a grayish blue marker to draw curved lines along the belly. Next, glue the completed belly just below the mouth.
Use a dark blue marker to draw spots along the top side of the whales' head.
Tape a headband extender on each side of the base of the headband.
Place the headband on your child's head to determine the size, then tape it closed to form a circle.
Finish off by taping the whale's fluke to the back, inside of the headband.
