Download the ice cream template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take the ice cream cone and use a brown marker to draw horizontal and vertical lines to make it look like a waffle cone.

Trace your child's hand onto a piece of colored paper and cut it out. Position the handprint with the fingers down, then glue the chocolate syrup to the base of the hand.

Next, glue the eyes to the middle of the palm, one on each side.

Use a black marker to draw a smile just under the eyes.

Glue the cherry to the top and middle of the hand. Optionally: Cut a small sliver of brown or black paper and glue it to the back of the cherry to look like the stem.

Finish by gluing the handprint, fingers down onto the top of the cone.
