Download the koala template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Trace your child's hand onto a piece of gray cardstock and cut out.

Begin to assemble the koala's face by gluing the inner ears to the outer ears.

Place the eyes in the middle of the head and glue it in place. Next, glue the nose/mouth piece in between and slightly overlapping the eyes.

Cut out small ovals from the pink cardstock and glue on the koala's face for cheeks or use a pink marker to draw them on.

Take the finished koala head and glue it to the thumb side of the handprint.

Assemble the tree by gluing the branch near the bottom of the tree trunk.

Position the koala, pinky side down, on the branch and glue it into place.

Glue a few leaves on the end of the branch and the top of the tree trunk.
