Materials

  • Colored cardstock
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Leprechaun template

Instructions

  • Download the leprechaun template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by spreading glue along a small section of the background paper.

  • Glue tissue paper squares along the portion of the leprechaun that you spread glue on.
  • Repeat the last 2 steps until the entire leprechaun is filled with tissue paper.

  • Make the hat by gluing the hat band to the middle of the hat.
  • Take the outer buckle and glue it to the middle of the hat band.

  • Glue the inner buckle to the middle of the outer buckle.
  • Next, glue the eyes to the leprechaun's face, one on each side of the leprechaun's nose.

  • Place the hat on top of the leprechaun's head and glue it in place.
  • Finish up by cutting off the bottom part of the paper, along the dashed line.
