Materials

  • Colored cardstock in orange, yellow orange, pink and black
  • White cardstock
  • Glue stick
  • Pink and black marker
  • Lion template download form located at the end of this post

Instructions

  • Download the lion craft template, print and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to assemble the lion's face by gluing the eyes towards the top of the yellow orange face.
  • Glue the lion's nose just below the eyes. Take the black marker and draw on the mouth like the pictures show.
  • Use the circle punch or scissors to cut out two 1" circles. Glue these circles on either side of the nose, just below the eyes. If you don't want to cut more pieces out, you can also use a pink marker to draw in the cheeks.
  • Use the pink marker to draw the inner ear onto the lion's outer ear. Glue the ears to the top, back of the lion's face.
  • Take the completed lion's face and glue it in the middle of the lion's mane.
  • Put the neck behind the back of the mane and glue in place.
  • This would make a fun craft for a safari or wild animal birthday party! Just have the pieces ready to go and all the little guests can make one to take home.
