Materials

  • TP Roll
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Glue dot optional
  • Lion template

Instructions

  • Download the lion template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the face to the middle of the mane.
  • Take the eyes and glue them beneath both of the eyebrows.
  • Next, glue the belly to the middle and bottom of the body.
  • Place tape on one end of the lion's body, then wrap it around the toilet paper roll. Place a second piece of tape on the opposite end of the body and secure it to the cardboard tube.
  • Glue the head to the top of the lion's body. We prefer using a glue dot for this, but you can also use a standard glue stick or liquid glue.
  • Create the lion's tail by gluing the tip of the tail to the end of the tail.
  • Finish up by folding the end of the tail over, placing glue or a glue dot on the folded portion, and gluing it to the side of the lion's body.
