Materials

  • Paper plate
  • Brown or tan paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Tape
  • Brown marker
  • Llama template

Instructions

  • Download the llama template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Paint a paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of brown or tan paint and let dry completely.
  • Place the llama head template on the dried paper plate, trace, and cut it out. Trace the outer ear template on the scraps of the painted paper plate and cut it out. You can also use similar colored paper to trace and cut out the outer ears.
  • Glue the eyes near the middle of the paper plate, one on each side of the head.
  • Position the mouth and nose piece in between the eyes and glue it slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.
  • Place the cheeks on the outside of the eyes and glue them in place.
  • Glue the pink inner ears in the middle of the outer ears, then flip the paper plate over and tape the completed ears to the top and back of the llama's head.
  • Flip the llama head back over and use a brown marker to draw on fluff marks all over the head.
