Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pink marker or crayon
  • Monkey template

Instructions

  • Download the monkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Glue the monkey's face to the middle of the head section. Next, take the eyes and glue them on either side and above the nose.
  • Use the pink marker to draw on the cheeks just below the eyes.
  • Place the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears and glue them in place.
  • Position the belly in the middle of the monkey's body and glue it in place.
  • Glue the heart in the middle of the belly, then take the hands and glue them to look like the monkey is holding the heart.
  • Place the monkey's feet at the end of the legs and glue them down.
  • Finish off the monkey by gluing the tail to the back of the body.
