Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Monster template

Instructions

  • Download the monster template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the belly to the middle of the monster's body.

  • Take the mouth and glue it in the middle of the monster, right above the belly.
  • Next, take the tongue and glue it to the bottom of the mouth.
  • Glue the eyes in the middle of the head, above the mouth.
  • Place the nose near the bottom of the eyes and glue it in place.

  • Use a marker to draw eyebrows above both eyes.
  • Next, glue the arms on each side of the belly, so they're facing inward.
  • Trace your child's handprints onto a piece of colored paper and cut it out.
  • Finish by placing the handprint wings, with the fingers pointing outward, on the back of the monster's body and glue them down.
