Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Moose template

Instructions

  • Download the moose template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by taking the lower part of the moose's face and glue it to the bottom of the face.
  • Place the eyes on the head in between the eyebrows and the nose and glue them on the head.
  • Next, glue the antlers to the top and back of the moose's head.
  • Trace your child's hand onto a piece of brown paper and cut it out. Position the handprint with the fingers and thumb pointing down and glue the head to the bottom of the thumb.
  • Glue the tail to the back of the pinky side of the handprint.
  • Finish off by using a black marker to draw the hooves onto the bottom of each of the four fingers.
