Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Glue stick
  • Glut dot
  • Pencil
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Mouse template

Instructions

  • Download the mouse template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the mouse's inner ears to the outer ears.
  • Trace your child's hand onto a piece of paper and cut it out.
  • Position the hand with the fingers pointing down and glue the ears to the back of the palm side of the hand.
  • Glue the eyes in the middle of the palm.
  • Next, glue or draw the nose on just below and in between the eyes.
  • Leave a little space beneath the nose and glue the tooth in place. Use a marker to draw the line from the nose to the tooth.
  • Take 3 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. Twist the 3 pipe cleaners in the middle to create the mouse's whiskers.
  • Place a glue dot in the middle of the twisted pipe cleaners and stick it onto the mouse, just below the nose.
