Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Markers
- Glue stick
- Glut dot
- Pencil
- Pipe cleaners
- Mouse template
Instructions
- Download the mouse template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the mouse's inner ears to the outer ears.
- Trace your child's hand onto a piece of paper and cut it out.
- Position the hand with the fingers pointing down and glue the ears to the back of the palm side of the hand.
- Glue the eyes in the middle of the palm.
- Next, glue or draw the nose on just below and in between the eyes.
- Leave a little space beneath the nose and glue the tooth in place. Use a marker to draw the line from the nose to the tooth.
- Take 3 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. Twist the 3 pipe cleaners in the middle to create the mouse's whiskers.
- Place a glue dot in the middle of the twisted pipe cleaners and stick it onto the mouse, just below the nose.
