Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Mummy pumpkin template

Instructions

  • Download the mummy pumpkin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes to the middle of the pumpkin. If your kids want to, they can also color the eyes yellow or green to look spookier.
  • Take the mummy wrap strips and glue them all over the pumpkin, leaving some of the eyes exposed. Alternatively, you can have kids cut their own strips or even tear the paper instead of cutting them out.
  • Next, glue the stem to the top and back of the pumpkin.
  • Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. Trim off any excess paper.
  • Finish up by gluing the mouth below the eyes, in the middle of the pumpkin.
