Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Nutcracker Template

Instructions

  • Download the Nutcracker template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the mustache to the top of the mouth. Glue the nose in the middle of the face, just above the mustache. Or color in the nose with a marker.
  • Next, take the eyes and glue them on both sides of the nose.
  • Place the hair and glue it to the back of both sides of the head.
  • Complete the hat by gluing the band to the bottom of the hat and the decoration to the top of the hat.
  • Take the hat and glue it to the top of the nutcracker’s head.
  • Place the nutcracker’s head on the top of the gnome body and glue it in place.
  • Arrange the gnome’s shoes at the bottom of the body and glue them down.
  • Color in the drum and glue it to the middle of the body.
  • Finish up by gluing the hands, one on each side, to the drum.
