Materials

  • White cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Crayons or markers if using the color in version
  • Glue dot optional
  • Nutcracker template

Instructions

  • Download the nutcracker template and print it out. If your child is using the black and white version, let them color in both nutcracker pieces.

  • Place tape along one end of the nutcracker's body and tape it to the toilet paper roll. Next, place tape on the other end of the body, then wrap it around the toilet roll and tape it in place.

  • Use a glue dot (or glue or piece of tape) to attach the head to the top of the nutcracker's body.
