Download the owl template and print it out on white paper.

Let the kids paint each of the pieces, then let the paper dry completely. Take another piece of paper and let the kids paint it to be the background paper. Cut each of the pieces out.

Begin to make the owl by gluing the top head piece to the middle and top of the owl's body.

Place the eye spots below the top head piece, on both sides of it.

Next, glue the eyes in the middle of the eye spots.

Glue the beak in between and just below the eyes.

Take the belly and glue it to the center of the body, then glue the wings on both sides of it.

Complete the owl by gluing the feet to the bottom and back of the owl's body.

Create the scene by gluing the branch near the bottom of the page.

Next, glue the moon somewhere in the top half of the paper.

Finish up by gluing the owl on the branch.
