Materials
- Paper plate
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Black marker
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Acorn template
Instructions
- Download the acorn template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by painting the paper plate with 1-2 thin coats of brown paint. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
- Next, glue the cap to the top portion of the paper plate.
- Now, glue the eyes to the center of the paper plate.
- Position the mouth below the eyes and glue it in place.
- Glue the tongue to the center of the mouth.
- Next, glue the cheeks below the eyes.
- Finish off by drawing the eyebrows on top of the eyes.
