Paper Plate Bat Craft For Kids

Materials

  • Paper Plate
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Pencil
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Bat template

Instructions

  • Download the bat template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Paint the paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of paint and let it dry completely.
  • Once the paper plate is dry, place the bat body template in the middle, trace, and cut it out.
  • Glue the eyes in the middle of the bat head, just a little bit below the ears.
  • Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. Trim off any excess paper.
  • Next, glue the fangs to the top of the mouth.
  • Place the completed mouth in the middle of the bat, just below the eyes. Glue it in place.
  • Finish off the bat by gluing the wings, one on each side, to the back of the body.
