Begin by painting your paper plate in a thin coat of brown paint and let it dry completely.

Glue the eyes towards the top of the paper plate.

Next, use the brown marker to draw on the nostrils and mouth on the cream muzzle.

Place the muzzle just beneath the eyes, in the middle of the paper plate and glue it down.

Position the horse’s mane at the top of the paper plate and glue or tape it down. We’ve found tape works the best on painted paper plates.
