Materials

  • Paper plates
  • Green paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Black marker
  • Pencil
  • Glue stick

  • Witch template
  • Witch template

Instructions

  • Download the witch template, print it, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by painting the paper plate with a thin coat of paint and let it dry completely.
  • Place the witch face template on the dry paper plate, trace, and cut out. Set aside for later.
  • Make the witch's hat by gluing the hat band in the middle of the hat, then trim off the excess paper that hangs over it.
  • Glue the witch's hair to the back of the witch's hat, one piece on each side.
  • Take the hat and hair combo and glue it to the top of the witch's head you set aside earlier. Next, glue the eyes an inch or so below the hat, in the middle of the face.
  • Use the black marker to draw on eyebrows, a small nose, and a big smile!
