Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Star punch optional
  • Firework template

Instructions

  • Open the template in Adobe Reader and add your child's name to the star letters, then print out the pieces you need. Alternatively, you can skip adding the name and write them on the stars instead.
  • Begin by gluing the stripes along the base of the firework. Cut off any excess paper that hangs over the sides.
  • Place the triangular top at the end of the base and glue it in place.
  • Next, take the firework base and glue it to the back and bottom of the fireworks.
  • Glue the completed firework onto a blue sheet of paper.
  • Take the star letters and glue them below the firework to spell out the child's name.
  • Finish up by using markers to draw fireworks along the background and fire at the base of the fireworks.
