Download the pencil craft, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the top of the pencil to the pencil tip.

Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the mouth. Trim off any excess paper, then glue it to the pencil tip, above the top of the pencil zig zags.

Glue the eyes in the middle of the pencil tip, above the mouth.

Next, glue the cheeks to both sides of the mouth.

Finish off the top of the pencil by gluing the lead to the top of the pencil, then cut off the excess paper.

Take the pencil base and glue it to the main portion of the brown paper bag.

Place the eraser on the bottom of the pencil base and glue it in place.

Glue the metal band just above the eraser.

Position the top of the pencil onto the flap portion of the brown paper bag and glue it down.

Using a ruler, make lines with an orange marker from the bottom of the zig-zag to the top of the metal band.
