Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Penguin template

Instructions

  • Download the penguin template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to make the card by gluing the white outer belly to the front of the card.
  • Open up the card and glue the white inner belly to the middle of the card. This will allow you to write a message inside. If you don't want to do this step, be sure to use gel pens or pens that can write on dark paper.
  • Make the head by gluing the face to the middle of the head.
  • Take the eyes and glue them, one on each side, below the eyebrows.
  • Glue the beak in the middle of the face, just below the eyes.
  • Next, glue the head to the top of the card body.
  • Place the feet at the bottom of the penguin's body and glue them in place.
  • Open up the card and write a cute message inside!
